Join us at YXL West 2022 from July 10-16. Our theme is United!

We had a great week at YXL West 2021, in spite of the pandemic. Lord willing we will be back together in July 2022 with the theme United!

Our evening speaker Caleb Harlan will be exploring the idea that we are united to Christ and to each other, drawing from John 13-17 and other texts. Here’s an intro to the theme from Caleb:

It’s the final moments before his death and Jesus has gathered together his leaders, his disciples, the apostles who have walked with him all these years. Yet we find them still confused, a messy bunch, unable to grasp the reality of the King and His Kingdom at hand. Peter continues to  reveal his cards, that he doesn’t understand the Savior of the World must die so that we might live. In these last moments we see betrayal, denial, sorrow and anger. But we also see words of life and truth. We see firsthand Christ’s prayer and desire for His people (Jn. 17), that we might experience union with one another just as Christ experiences union with the Father. But more than that… that we might live by faith in union with the Father, through the Son and by the Spirit.

Jesus says that we are united to Him in our troubles, but He has overcome the world (Jn. 16:33); we are united to Him by His Spirit, a Gift that is to our advantage, guiding us in all truth (Jn. 16:7, 13); we are united in our obedience, like a branch and the vine, bearing the fruit of love (Jn. 15:1-2); we are united in our service, washing the feet of those in our midst, following the example of Christ (Jn. 13:34); but more then anything, by faith we are united to God through the sacrifice of Christ who laid down His life that we may be called friends (Jn. 15:13-14).

Join us this summer as we study John 13-17 and what is means to live, to love and to lead in light of our adoption as sons and daughters, united to Christ!

Registration will be live in January 2022.[/vc_column_text][prkwp_spacer size=”12″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][prkwp_spacer size=”12″][vc_widget_sidebar sidebar_id=”ups-sidebar-5898″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
